Vergie was born September 03, 1941 in Taylor, AR. She attended School in Blanchard, LA and High School in Shreveport, LA . Vergie was preceded in death by her parents, Jodie and Emma Caldwell. She was survived by her husband, William H. Dickey; daughters, Cheryl Barefield and Tina Sisson, four sisters; one brother; five grand-children; one great grandchild and many other other relatives and friends.
