Vera De Hart Martin

Mrs. Vera V. Martin met her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 15, 2007. She was born on May 6, 1956 in Olive Hill, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack D. De Hart, and Mary Alice Boggs De Hart. Vera was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. She took great care in bringing up her daughter Andrea, whom she loved more than life.Her father, Jack De Hart lovingly called her "Tiny Tears" and she was known for her quick wit and sense of humor. She leaves behind her loving husband of 33 years, Gene R. Martin, and daughter Andrea V. Martin. Also surviving her are one brother; William Douglas De Hart , 3 sisters; Ida De Hart Rodriquez (William), Jennifer De Hart Wells (Ronnie), Lucy De Hart Laughlin (Robert), father and mother-in-law; Walter and Alice Martin, sister-in-law; Mary Beth Hollingsworth (Carol), 4 nephews, 6 nieces, a host of great nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed for her gentle spirit, smile, and laughter.
