Suzann Lear Boyett

Suzann Lear Boyett, beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away Friday October 25, 2024, at the age of 75, in Minden, LA.

 Suzann was born on January 14, 1949 in Herrin, IL to Delbert and Sybil Lear. She attended Frankfort Community High School in West Frankfort, IL and later studied Home Interior Design at Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, LA. She was an exquisite decorator. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafting and decorating for every holiday. She would always say that her greatest accomplishment was her children.

 She is proceeded in death by her father, Delbert Lear, mother, Sybil Lear Truitt, and step father, Albert Truitt.

 She is survived by her siblings Jim Lear and wife Laurie of West Monroe, LA; Jack Lear and wife Gerry of Springfield, IL; Bernie Lear and wife Alisa of Downsville, LA; and Donna McCormick and husband Jim of Hagerstown, IN. She is also survived by her five children, daughter Kelly Guillory and husband James of Panama City Beach, FL; Michael Boyett and wife Mindy of League City, TX; Richard Boyett and wife Miyako of Erie, CO; Jennifer Burson and husband John of Archibald, LA; and Troy “Bryant” Lear and wife Christi of Minden, LA. Grandchildren Katelyn (Jimmy) Baugh, Troy (Trisha) Guillory, Danielle Guillory, Cameron Lear, Victorian (Kyler) Choat, Zach Boyett, Olivia Burson and fiance’ Nate Stansberry, Cooper Lear, Carpenter Boyett, and John “Bo” Burson. Great grandchildren Izzy Baugh, Abi Baugh, Eli Baugh, Joseph Choat, Savannah Palmer, and Desirae Lingafelter. Neices Diana (Jay) Rees and Julie Lear and cousins Gene Doris and Joe Milton. As well as her best, good girl, and fluffy companion SooSoo.

 In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and laid to rest by her father in Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort, IL. Her family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
