Sharon Theresa

Sherry Lee of Bossier City passed away July 17, 2012 after a short illness. Sherry was born on September 29, 1942 in Shreveport. She graduated from Fair Park High School and had a long career in the medical records field in Shreveport, Bossier, California, Tennessee, and the Naval Hospital in Yolkosuka, Japan, where she and her family lived during her husband Harry?s naval service. She is credited with creating the medical records department while in Yolkosuka, as well as creating the Tumor Registry while in Tennessee. She is survived by her beloved husband of forty years, Harry Lee; her son, Monty and wife Voichita; daughter, Julie (Poppy); nieces, Shelley Lunch and her daughter Mabry, and Dusty Lindsey and her husband Ty, of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Christine Sartini of Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport and her sister Judy Sloan. Pallbearers will be Jeff and Ben Lee, Joe Brickner, Joe Johnson, Sr. and Joe Johnson, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Bennon Lee and Bob Lee. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Hernandez, Lara Perkins and Jesse for their many years of compassionate and excellent care. They would also like to thank the medical staff of Will-Knighton Bossier for their care.
