Roy Dee Parsons

SFC Roy Parsons, 76, of Shreveport LA, passed away in the presence of family, on December 18, 2022.  Roy was born June 23, 1945, to Rex and Ester Parsons in Oklahoma City, OK, and grew up in Midland, Tx.  He enjoyed spending his time meeting people.  Roy enlisted in the U. S.  Army, where he stayed until retirement.  He later became a Mason and spent twelve years volunteering at various parks as Campground Host, where he enjoyed meeting and greeting the campers.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Rex and ester Parsons; a daughter Kristy Tholin and stepson William Chandler.

Roy is survived by his wife, Emma Parsons of Shreveport; daughter, Kim Guzman of Tulip, AR; stepson, Jeffery Chandler of Shreveport, thirteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Roy will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
