Robert Wollschlaeger

Bobby (Bobby) Wollschlaeger passed away January 3, 2024 at Minden Medical Center following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life Service for Bobby will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home.

Bobby was born March 8, 1954.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Katherina Mueller, who migrated from Russia to North Dakota; paternal grandparents Fred and Ella Wollschlaeger; parents, Freddie and Fridea Wollschlaeger; wife, Diane Wollschlaeger; and brother, Gerald Wollschlaeger.  Left to cherish many precious memories are three children, Chris Wollschlaeger, Candice Bartholomew, and husband John Paul, and Colton Wollschlaege; sister, Jeanete Joiner of Greenwood, LA; brother, Kenny Wollschlaeger of Fargo, North Dakota; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and step-daughter Cassie of Keithville, LA.

Bobby was an avid football fan.  He was always happy and smiling, bringing joy to everyone he met.  He was a retired truck driver for Basic Energy, and saw the country from the cab of his truck.  When not on the road, he loved to cook and was good at it.  He always worked in his yard and had beautiful flowers.

Bobby loved everyone deeply and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
