Robert Perot

Robert Lee Perot Haughton, LA December 15, 2010 Robert Lee Perot was ushered into the place prepared for him by our Savior, Jesus. He was born June, 09 1935 in Hammond, LA. His parents were Ida Marie Procell and Joseph Evan Perot. Robert always believed in hard work. He was a heavy equipment operator from the age of 13. He served the Lord in music ministry and pastoring. Robert devoted his life to taking care of his family. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Evan Perot; a sister, Lucille Rodriguez; a brother, Charles Perot and a granddaughter, Lauren Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, DeJuanna Perot; daughters, Debra Harms and husband Tim, Viki Carter and husband Jerry, Mandi Byrum and husband Scott, and Tina Lopez and husband Tommy; one son, John Wess Perot; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Tyler and husband Sonny, Sue Sullivan, and Louise Pender; a brother, Joe Perot and wife Teresa; sister in law, Ione Perot, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services celebrating the life of Robert will be held Saturday, December 18, 2010, 2:00 PM at Central Assembly of God, Haughton, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Andy Harris and Rev. Robert Goetjen. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 17, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier city, LA. Pallbearers are grandsons, Nick Carter, Aaron Carter, Jerry Carter, Jr., James Vaughn, Jr., Jacob Byrum, and Bubba Brown.
