Richard Lynn Williams

d. April 25, 2021

Richard Lynn Williams was born October 31, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to proud parents Preston and Nellie Williams. Richard passed away peacefully April 25, 2021 with his loving family by his side. While Richard was young, he loved to spend time on his family farm in Kaufman, TX. There he made many special memories with his father and grandfather. Richard graduated from Seagoville High School in Seagoville. After school he attended college in Arlington, TX. Shortly after he began a career at Continental Trailways. During this time, Richard met the love of his life, Beth. They were married in 1979. Richard and Beth settled in Haughton where they opened The Movie Shop. While owning The Movie Shop, Richard worked for the Haughton Post Office, where he remained until he retired. Any free moment, Richard and Beth spent traveling in their RV to the West, and especially the mountains. Gardening was another favorite pastime of Richard's. Sharing his produce with family and friends meant a lot to him. Preceding Richard in death are his parents, and sister, Linda Lou Williams.
