Randall Coats

Randall (Randy) Coats of Shreveport, Louisiana, died on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, 2022. He was only 53 years old.

Randy was born in Shreveport on November 13th, 1969 and raised in the Northern Louisiana area. He fell in love as a young man with Theresa Louise and they married after years of courtship. He lived a social, busy life. He had countless friends,  and the wittiest sense of humor. He could make your sides hurt from laughing all day. Even though he was humble, Randy was so smart and talented. You couldn't beat him at a game of chess. He could fix anything. He was the first to show up for family or a friend in need- repairing appliances and plumbing leaks for those loved,  all over Louisiana. He loved children and animals, and they loved him. The only time Randy would slow down was to take time to include a child. Years after she died, he still missed his beloved Jack Russell, "Pepper." Randy had the kindest, purest intentions in all that he did. He will be so missed and never forgotten.

He is survived by his wife Theresa and her children and grandchildren whom he loved as his own- Jamom Bamburg Jr., Amanda Enckhausen, Ashley Depriest, Matthew Bamburg and Jeremy Enckhausen, Riley Enckhausen, Maia Depriest, Elias Depriest, Iris Stowe, August Bamburg. He is also survived by brothers David Coats and Michael Coats and Michael's children Chris, Courtney, and Austin, and sister Regina Coats Teague,

husband Philip Teague and their children Greg, Joshua, and Morgan. Family would like to send a special thank you to his close friends; Travis and Arielle and their children,  as well as Faye and Tisha for their help and support.

In lieu of flowers,  the family asked that gifts be given to the funeral home to aide in funeral cost.
