After 87 years, Pauline Skinner Turner died early in the morning of March 9th from complications following a heart attack that occurred a few weeks earlier. She spent her last evening listening to music in the presence of her family and passed peacefully.
She was a retired RN, graduating from the Charity School of Nursing, worked in several of the area hospitals, and brought many new lives into the world. In addition to her immediate family she helped others as often as she was able, affecting the lives of everyone that she came into contact with.
Pauline was married to James Douglas Turner for nearly forty years until his passing in1988. She is survived by four children, a brother and three sisters, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, a few grand and great-grandchildren, and friends.
We will gather at the Bethel cemetery on Bethel road to remember Pauline and say our goodbyes at 10:30 on March 14th. The family requests that in lieu of flowers; please give to a charity of your choosing in her name.
