Haughton-Patrick L. Bonner was born in Los Angeles California on August, 5 1938, and passed away February 8, 2016 from natural causes.
The first 20 years of Pat's career he was a jockey racing thoroughbred horses in California, Detroit, and Chicago. After sustaining multiple injuries, he ended his racing career, but continued working in the race-horse industry at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas and Louisiana Downs. He ended his career with horses as a veterinary assistant, and worked 30 years at Haughton Animal Hospital in the Large Animal Section, with his very close colleagues Dr. R. Wolfe and Dr. E. Moore
He is survived by Emily Williams, his precious "adopted granddaughter". Emily was a devoted friend to Patrick and they both cherished their close relationship.
Patrick was an avid life learner of many things and took pride on staying technologically savvy. As a collector of guns and knives, you could always find him at different gun shows. Everyone that met Pat remembers his quick-witted comebacks and caring personality. He will be greatly missed.
