Keithville- Patricia Scholling passed away peacefully on August 21, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Pat lived out her faith as a silent servant for over 27 years. She made weekly visits to the residents of the Bradford and was known as ?the donut lady?. She was most comfortable working behind the scenes unnoticed by others. She served at and supported Heart of Hope Maternity Home and the Ark-La-Tex Crisis Pregnancy Center. She had the gift of helping and it was evident in her relationships with her children, family, neighbors, and friends. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to ride horses. Preceding her in death are her husband, Edwin Scholling, and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Scholling Hammond and husband Scott of Keithville, Kathryn Scholling Lagesse and husband Leon of Bullard, TX; son, Phillip Edwin Scholling and wife Ruby of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Hammond Osterlie and husband Mark, Stacey Hammond Mieding and husband Dave, Casey Lagesse Strasen and husband Matt, Brent Lagesse and fiancé Denise Law; Jenna Lagesse Cooper and husband Cody, Brian Lagesse, Lindsey and Lauren Scholling; three great-grandchildren, Blake B., Austin Osterlie, and Danielle Strasen. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Bradford Guest Care and St. Joseph Hospice. In memory of Pat, the family asks that donations be made to Heart of Hope, A Sanctuary for Women, or the Ark-La-Tex Crisis Pregnancy Center.
