Patricia Bretches

Patricia Brown Dowling Bretches, lovingly known as Pat, was born on May 10, 1947, in Jackson, TN, and passed away on July 14, 2024, in Shreveport, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Patricia had a zest for life and a passion for her loved ones. She found great joy in being a mother and grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Patricia's favorite pastimes included reading, playing with her beloved dog Casey, and creating lasting memories with her family. When it came to food, Patricia had a sweet tooth for chocolate chip ice cream and a weakness for Mexican pizzas from Taco Bell. She also had a love for the coast of Maine, which she considered her favorite place in the world. In her downtime, Patricia enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy, which provided her with hours of entertainment and laughter. She had a special bond with her sister Ann Collins, who shared many cherished memories together. Patricia is survived by her loving husband Charles Bretches, their children Hope and Kenneth, and her adored granddaughters Kate, Caroline, and Ella.
