Blanchard, LA ? Funeral services for Othella Cox will be 10:00 AM, March 25, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Blanchard, 201 Attaway, Blanchard, LA. Interment will follow in Mooringsport Memorial Gardens, Mooringsport, LA. Officiating will be Dr. James Hill of First Baptist Church of Blanchard and Jarred Pellegrin, Grandson. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, March 24, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Othella, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. L. ?Slick? Cox and grandson Scott Haire. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Pellegrin and husband Rick, Marty Grafton; sons, Wayne Irvin and wife Kathy, Layne Irvin and wife Janette and Bubba Cox; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Lulu Morris; and brother, R. L. Owens. The family would like to thank Heritage Manor and St. Joseph Hospice for their care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimers Foundation. Pallbearers will be Othella?s grandsons.
