Norma Birnbrook

Norma Jean Birnbrook, 85, of Bethany Louisiana passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, at Willis Knighton Piermont.

Norma was born October 13, 1939, in Cortez, CO, to Alta (Herren) and Oscar Vinning. Norma grew up in Caney Kansas and graduated from Caney High School. After high school she want to Bartlesville Wesleyan College where she completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Upon graduation she married her college sweetheart, Leroy Birnbrook. Together they spent their lives traveling the southern Midwest evangelizing and spreading the word of God. She loved to sew, craft and especially enjoyed attending craft shows. She was an avid reader, enjoyed flowers and caring for the numerous animals they had through the years.

Norma was survived by her husband Leroy; children Matthew and Andre Birnbrook; and grandchildren, Kasey, Lucas and Juliette. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Roy Birnbrook; sister Arlene Bellairs.

Funeral services will be at 11 am, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home, 2156 Airline Dr, Bossier City, LA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Haughton Cemetery.
