Nola Henderson
Benton- Nola, 85, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer, on February 4, 2016. She was surrounded with the love of her family.
When her children were young, Nola, was known as the "Neighborhood Mom". She always had her doors open for children and animals. In her spare time, she loved being outside working in her garden or just enjoying nature. When she couldn't be outside, she was an avid reader.
Nola was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Maud Pardue; sister, Jewel Anderson; son, Jimmy Nall; and granddaughter, Michelle Nall. She is survived by daughters, Jerrye King and husband Mike, and Debbie Edmunds, and husband Mike; grandchildren, Stephanie Tormala and husband Bob, Brent Grubbs and wife Carolyn, Stanton Edmunds and wife Christy, Matt Edmunds and wife Chelsey; and great-grandchildren, Layton Edmunds, and much anticipated great-granddaughter to be born in April, Ellyson Edmunds.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Willis Knighton Cancer Center and all of the staff of Garden Park Rehab Center for their care and compassion during Nola's lengthy illness.
Graveside services for Nola will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Forest Park Cemetery West. Nola left many memories for her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any animal rescue of your choice.
