Nancy Ann Santor

Born on October 23, 1938 and passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 82 at her home surrounded by loving family in Haughton LA. Nancy was born and raised in Los Angeles CA. There, she met her husband of 64 years, Richard Santor. Nancy was a mother and a homemaker raising 3 sons and a daughter. As her children grew, Nancy started working as a retail manager and continued that work until retiring and moving to Louisiana with Richard. There she enjoyed retirement life spending time with family and friends. As a breast cancer survivor, she became attached to and enjoyed the Christus Foundation Breast Cancer support group, a local breast cancer support group where they did crafts and mostly just supported each other for a common cause. Nancy was an outgoing person who enjoyed being around others and displayed a sense of humor that could be appreciated by those around her. She always enjoyed laughing and enjoyed time with loved ones. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Lyon and father, Robert Lyon, and a brother, John Lyon. Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard Santor, brother, Jim Lyon and his wife Kathy, her children, Richard (Rick) Santor II, Keith Santor, Denise Tindall and spouse Ed, and Kevin Santor and spouse Lisa. Her grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Ryan and Kalina Santor, and Asa and Jake Tindall, numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank St Joseph Hospice staff and her nurse Autumn for their loving and compassionate care of Nancy. Because of issues associated COVID-19 the family has decided that no visitation or services will be held.
