Michael (Mike) Weber, of Benton Louisiana, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 after living a joyful and fulfilled life of 65 years. Mike Weber's life will be remembered on Friday, December 11 at Trinity Heights Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Visitation with his family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 10 at Boone Funeral Home (Bossier City, La) from 5:00-7:00 pm. The service will be led by Brother Chris Cheniere, and lifelong friends will honor him as honorary pallbearers. Those friends include Don Brown, Al Butler, Raymond Modica, Ronnie Keith, Spud Wilson and Jim Coleman.
Mike Weber's life was full of friendship and fellowship, epitomized by the fact that he never met a stranger and made lifelong friends wherever he ventured. His world revolved around his family, especially his wife, Margaret, his daughters, Jenny and Lisa, and grandsons, Zane and Reilly. He was an active community member and Bossier City business owner who received many accolades for his leadership.
Mr. Weber was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Katherine Weber. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Weber of Benton, Louisiana. He also leaves daughters Jennifer Weber and Lisa Weber, and grandsons Julian Zane Weber and Reilly Michael Weber. He is survived by his step-daughter Debbie Beaver, her husband Randy Beaver, and their children Chloe and Gillian. Other family members include his brothers and sisters Tony Morgan, Keith Weber, Duke Weber, Pam Kunkul, and Tracy Tapia.
Although his earthly presence has left this world, his spirit and legacy of kindness, laughter and generosity will forever remain through his daughters, grandsons and the countless numbers of lives he touched throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Airline High School Football Booster Club of Bossier City, La. or the Shreveport/Bossier Rescue Mission.
