Michael C. Petty

Michael Charles Petty was born on 27 September 1958 to Illa and Jerry Petty. Unexpectedly, Michael passed away on Friday, 7 July 2017. A Memorial Mass for Michael will be held Saturday, 15 July at 11:00 a.m. at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 7738 Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City, Louisiana 71112. Michael was a man of many accomplishments and talents. His knowledge and abilities were endless. Michael possessed a genuine and devoted love for his family and friends and cherished moments with each. We all know we are better for the moments we spent with Michael. He was a loving son to Jerry and Illa, a big brother to Jeannette, Mark, and sister-in-law Joyce, and a very proud uncle to Joshua and Amanda. His deepest devotion was to God. While it is difficult to imagine this world without Michael, he will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
