Michael Humble

Shreveport, LA. Memorial services for Michael Vernon Humble, 53, will be held at Boone Funeral Home, Airline Dr., Bossier City, LA, at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2008. There will be a visitation hour preceding the service at 1:00 pm. He was born on November 14, 1955 in Wisner, La. and passed away on November 21, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi and Vernon Humble and sister, Barbara Portwood. Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Jefferson Humble; sisters, Carolyn Cook and Patricia Long; nieces, Donna, Lisa, Tommi and Patti and nephew, Chris. Also missing him will be his numerous great nieces and nephews and Tootsie the cat. Mike loved his job in security and looked forward to going to work everyday at the Beck Building where he made many friends with the people who worked there and spoke of them often.
