Mary Louise Rowe

d. October 1, 2021

Mary Louise Rowe was born in Gobler, Missouri to Floyd and Gracie Mae Hendrickson on October 11, 1951. She passed from this life into the arms of our Lord on October 1, 2021. Louise was a longtime resident of Shreveport, Louisiana where she was employed as a legal assistant for about 40 years. She also worked briefly as a 911 dispatch operator. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church since the church first opened its doors. She loved her church family, teaching Sunday School, and was involved in many activities when she was able. She looked forward to the many 5th Sunday singings that were held at the church as well as attending them at other churches. She loved praising and worshipping the Lord. She had a large and caring heart and always tried to help anyone she could. She was very involved with her family and cherished spending every moment she could with them. Her favorite time of the year was fall and Christmas time. She loved taking drives to watch the foliage change and looking at all the Christmas decorations and lights. She was forever the doting mother and grandmother. Always making sure her family knew how much they were loved by her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Gracie Mae Hendrickson, her brother Bobby Joe Hendrickson, her grandparents on both her mother and fathers side, as well as several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her only daughter, Vanessa Kaye Callender and husband Leon. Grandchildren, Gene Horn, Jordan Horn, Gracie Mae Rowe, Brandon Callender, Joshua Callender and fiancé Savannah, Bridget King and husband Quentin. Great grandchildren Brianna, Demas, Symphony, and Jayda. Sister-in-law Middie Hendrickson as well as many other friends, extended family, and church members. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
