Mary Armacost

Mary Madeline Armacost, of Haughton, Louisiana, was born in Lima, Ohio, December 7,1943 to a French immigrant Andrew Barbier and his lovely wife, Fay Young. She also had an older brother, Robert Barbier. These cherished family members were waiting to welcome her to heaven on February 8, 2025.

Throughout her life, Mary achieved many outstanding accomplishments. She was a world traveler, a fluid dancer, and fiercely independent. She was brave, smart, unselfish and kind. Her smile was infectious, and her bubbly personality and openness created a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone she met. She worked many years in the dental industry and excelled at her career as an orthodontic lab technician. She was also a breast cancer survivor. Her biggest accomplishment, however; was being a fantastic mother and best friend to her three daughters Jacqueline MacLeod, Alesia Thomas, and Mellissa Ivanova.

In addition to her three loving daughters, Mary leaves behind three grandchildren Christopher, Sean and Maxine, two great grandchildren MacKenzie and Keilan, a son-in-law George and three fur babies who; like her children; doted on her.

Mom, we love you and miss you, but we know you will always be with us in spirit!
