Lydia Ann Alexander was born August 5, 1957 to Edward and Bennie Riddle in Linden, Texas. Lydia gained her Heavenly wings on May 19, 2022. Lydia will laid to rest with Thomas at 2:00 PM, May 31, 2022 in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana.
Lydia was raised in Linden where she raised grand champion steers throughout her middle and high school years. Lydia wanted to see the country so she drove an 18-wheeler for many years. After coming off the road, she started working at Red River Ammunition Plant in Hooks, TX. In 1994, Lydia moved to Shreveport and met and married Thomas Alexander on December 5, 1997. Missing interaction with people, she decided to start a new career as a bartender. She really enjoyed meeting and serving people.
Waiting for Lydia in Heaven are her husband Thomas Alexander; parents, Edward and Bennie Riddle; and brothers, James and Eddie Riddle; and grandson, Jacob Howard. Left to cherish many happy memories are sons, Christopher Howard and Billy Lee; grandchildren, Gracie and Annabelle Lee; and many other family members and friends.
Lydia shared her soul with so many. She loved deeply and was loved. Her sparkle will continue for many generations in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her.
