Loretta Starkey

Bossier City, LA - Loretta Vivian Starkey, born November 29, 1940, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her. Our family has been blessed by her will, courage and strength. She will forever be in our hearts. Survivors include husband of 24 years, Glen "Ed" Starkey; sons, Tony Smith and wife Barbara of Abilene, TX, and Troy Panagakis of Bossier City; and daughters, Janice Papasan of Bossier City, and Tory Daggett of Lubbock. TX; sister, Barbara Bowman and husband Mac of Abilene, TX; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents, J.C. and Vivian Gross; brother, James Rasco; niece, Rebecca Melum; and nephew Channing Anderson. Services are pending in Abilene, TX.
