Lloydeane Martin, a remarkable woman of strength, passion, and compassion, passed away, at the age of 90. She was born in the Pacific Northwest, to her loving parents, Emmet and Edna, and was one of four sisters, Marlene, Clarene, and Shirley. Lloydeane's life is a testament to her boundless spirit and unwavering determination. She was a standout athlete, excelling in various sports, including tennis, track, and softball. Her love for the land led her to work on her farm, where she found solace and purpose. Lloydeane is a woman of many interests, enjoying the pleasures of reading and traveling, which broadened her horizons and enriched her life. Her dedication to her country was evident as she proudly served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army Reserves. Lloydeane was a nurturing and dedicated registered nurse who touched the lives of countless patients with her unwavering care and compassion. Her passion for education knew no bounds, and at the age of 64, she achieved her master's degree in Theology from Loyola University New Orleans, a testament to her unyielding commitment to learning and growth. Lloydeane was preceded in death by her daughter, Deana Kay Harper, her sister, Clarene Jean Banister, and her former spouses, Hurtis King Harrison Sr. and Alan William Martin. She is survived by her daughters Cindy Harrison, Connie Mack, Sharron Wiggins, Julia [Frank] Graham, and Mary [Robert] Almond and their son Riley Jackson. Lloydeane is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lloydeane Martin will be forever etched in our hearts, her memory a source of inspiration, and her legacy a reminder of the strength of the human spirit. She leaves behind a profound and lasting impact on all those whose lives she touched. We will cherish the moments shared with her, the wisdom she imparted, and the love she freely gave. |
