Linda Marie Cox

Linda Marie, 69, of Converse LA was called to heaven on October 19, 2023.  She lived most of her adult life in Las Vegas, NV.  Although fighting health issues, she passed away at home peacefully with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Susan Remedies, mother, Verline Remedies Melton, and brother, Karl Schroeder.

She is survived by the love of her life, Billy Jack Lewis, children Cynthia/Joe Contreras, Michael/Teresa Sheehan, and grandchildren Karac Contreras, Zackary/Chyrel Contreras, Austin/Ryley Sheehan, and Wyatt Sheehan, great grandchildren Lakely, Liv, and Hudson Sheehan, Karsen, Ariel and John Gilcrease, sisters Vickie Holbrook, Charlotte Schroeder, brothers Kenny Schroeder and George Alford.

She has so many family members she has left behind.  The family would like to give special thanks to her aunts, Mary Brock and Theresa Wilds, who helped bring so much comfort in her final days.

Linda was a strong, compassionate, and independent woman with an impeccable work ethic.  One of her great joys was cooking large meals and gathering with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
