Lester (Les) Ray Woodard, 80, of Bossier City LA, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024. He was born in Sebring FL on January 25, 1944 to Clarence and Betty Woodard. Les was an only child. He was raised in Shreveport LA. He married Dianna on March 29, 1980, on a rainy day and remained married until death. They enjoyed spending their time together. Les was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed it. Les was a drummer with a country and western band for many Years. He worked as a glazier for Griders Glass until retirement in 2012, never missing a day. He would walk to work with pneumonia to support his family, which was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and watching sports on tv. He especially loved his grand children,, his great grandchildren, and his dog Koko.
He is survived by his wife Dianna, daughters Tracie, Melissa, and Leslie, sister Betty Fay, ten grandchildren Josh, Megan, Desiree, Ty Joe, Taylor, Mia, Alycia, Alayna, Christian, and Alex and five great grandchildren, Cataleya, Jerry, Wyatt, Katie, and Remy, that he loved dearly.
Les is preceded in death by his parents and many Aunts and Uncles.
