Keri Annette Earley

Bossier City

 

Keri Annette McLemore Earley, 41, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 9, 2023.

 

Visitation will be held on December 14, 2023 at 11:30AM at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the funeral service immediately following at 12:30PM, Pastor Tim Godin will be officiating. Burial will follow the funeral at Haughton Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Boone Funeral Home.

 

Keri was born on December 12, 1981 in Bossier City, living in her hometown of Ringgold until she was 26 years old, then moving to Bossier City, where she met her future husband.  She graduated from Mt. Olive Christian School in Athens, Louisiana and continued on to become a dedicated and caring nurse for the next 17 years.

 

Keri was married to James Lee Earley, Jr., (also known as Bubba) on  October 9, 2007.  They were married for 16 loving and happy years.

 

Keri worked as a dedicated cardiac nurse for Dr. Amber Shah for nine years, leaving Dr. Shah with some very big shoes to fill.  She enjoyed shopping with her mom, daily runs to Starbucks, being pianist and attending church at Lighthouse, avid reader when  could get the quiet time while having four kids, and being a supermom and exceptional friend.  She also found time to be involved with her daughter's girl scout troop for over 10 years, including being the “cookie mom”, supporting her youngest daughter's cheernastics, and her sons' baseball teams. 

 

Keri is survived by her husband, Bubba Earley, her daughter, Sophia Grace (15), her son, James Lee Earley III (12), and twins George Wallace Earley, (8), and Felicity Faith Early (8).  She is also survived by her father, Rickey Leonard McLemore, mother Annette Hawthorne McLemore, siblings Shon and Brandon McLemore, and their wives Jamie and Shelby, grandmother, Diane Hawthorne, aunts Debbie Hawthorne and Judy Hawthorne DeMasi, Shirley Smith, nephews Michael, Max, and Brett and niece Lilly, as well as other family and friends to numerous to count.

 

Keri is preceded in death by her grandfather, George McLemore, grandmother Betty McLemore, grandfather James Hawthorne, and her Aunt Lynn McLemore.
