Joseph Leboeuf

Joseph Russell “Rusty” LeBoeuf, 89 of Many, La. departed his earthly home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Russell was born in Chauvin, Louisiana to William J. and Luziana Thibodeaux LeBoeuf on July 18, 1934.  He was a life long Commercial Fisherman.  He was also a Master Mason. After retiring, he continued to handcraft trawling nets until his final days.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, his only brother, Junior, who passed away just four days prior and his infant daughter, Kim Marie.

Russell leaves behind his devoted wife of 70 years, Garnet Marie, and his two children, Bernard (Joanie) and Cindy (BJ); Grandchildren: Desiree (Jason), BJ (Crystal) and Nicole (David); Great-Grandchildren: Monica, Kameron, and Elijah. Russell was the awaiting the arrival of his first great-great-granddaughter, Rylenn. He also leaves behind his beloved poodle, Pepe’.

If you knew Russell, you knew he was a funny guy with a BIG personality. He was hard-headed, hard working, and very much loved. To say he will be missed is a huge understatement. 

The family will have a small private celebration of life at the family camp near Toledo Bend.
