John Bishop

John Wesley Bishop, 62, of Blanchard LA, passed away on March 4, 2025.  He was born on September 28, 1962, to William and Gertrude Bishop, in Miami FL.  John was an avid motorcycle rider, and loved camping, and spending time with his dogs.  He was sometimes a little funny and enjoyed seeing people laugh and smile.  He was a very giving person that enjoyed doing things for other people.  John also loved nature and being outside feeding his birds.  He also enjoyed woodworking when he could find time, and also loved his Toyota Forerunner.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother Lueben Bishop.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Dorothy Bishop, sons Kevin and Kenny Bishop, Samuel Nester, Joshua, and Ashley Williams, sisters Vertice Wharton, Celeste Maurer, Nelda Wilcox, and brother Edwin Bishop,  and a host of grandkids, nieces and nephews.
