Jerry Maxwell Griffin

Jerry Maxwell Griffin was born on January 21, 1953 to Joe and Pauline Griffin. Jerry was raised in Shreveport, LA, and graduated from Southwood High School in 1972. After high school, he met the love of his life Janice, of whom he remained married to for 50 years until his death. Jerry began working with Arka La Gas and continued in his career for 27 years as a distribution technician. Jerry and Janice have three children, Robert, LaDonna and Patrick. Jerry had a love for fishing, camping, traveling, LSU Tiger football and of course his family. 

Survivors include his wife, Janice; mother, Pauline Griffin of Shreveport, LA; brother, Dino Griffin and wife Kris of Tyler, TX; Son, Robert Griffin and wife Cassie of Robeline, LA;, daughter LaDonna Norrell and husband John of Lake Tapps, WA; Son Patrick Griffin and wife Holly of Prairie Grove, AR; Granddaughters: Madison and Chloe Griffin, Kaylee and Dakota Norrell, and Avery and Natalie Griffin; and many more loving friends and family. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Joe Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to your local or home church. Family would like to thank the first responders and medical personnel involved in Jerry's care.
