James M Clark, 70, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 28, 2011. He enjoyed a long career working for the United States Postal Service, after serving his country in the U. S. Air Force. Jim had a love for the outdoors which included camping, grilling, fishing, and most recently bird watching. He was truly happy spending time with his family and friends, and special companion Teddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Clark, son, John; and brother, Don Clark. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 44 years, Alma; his daughters, Julie Wize, husband Jerry; Michelle Watson, husband Wayne; sons, Kenneth Clark, wife Laura; Joshua Clark, wife Jackie; grandchildren, Richard Holliday, Jr., Tamrha O?Brian, Seth, Ayla, and Elizabeth Wize, Cherise Clark and another on the way, Ryan and Emily Watson, Brittany Derby, Katelyn Clark, Hunter Clark; great grandchildren Joseph Holliday, and Shamus O?Brian; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services celebrating the life of Jim will be held at Boone Funeral Home, Meriweather Rd. at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011. Family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the funeral home.
