Guy Dudley Leake

Guy Dudley Leake, Jr. passed from this life December 27, 2015. Mr. Leake was a native of Shreveport and was born on January 6, 1938. He was son of Isabel McClurg Leake and Guy Dudley Leake, Sr. Mr. Leake received his Bachelors Degree from Louisiana Tech in 1960 and his Masters in Speech, Language and Pathology from University of Alabama in 1962. In 1958, he married the love of his life, Harriet Brooks Crowder, who preceded him in death in 2006. They were happily married for 48 years. He lost his brother, Vernon Gilbert "Bud" Leake in 1972 Mr. Leake is survived by son, James Patrick Leake; sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Dudley of Longwood Louisiana; niece and nephews Vera Leake Muno, Gilbert Leake Frank Leake, and Victor Leake, Debra Crowder Green, Rita Catherine Frizzell, and husband Larry, James Stephen Crowder, and wife Dawn, William R. Dudley, Jr. and his wife Nova, and Fred Leonard Dudley of Longwood , LA. Pallbearers will be Stephen Crowder, Brandon Green, Ricky Lucas, Larry Frizzle, Michael Dudley, and John Dudley. A graveside service celebrating Mr. Leake's life will be held at Greenwood Cemetery (Also known as Boot Hill Cemetery) on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 10:00 PM. Officiating will be William R. Dudley, Jr.
