Glyn Tibbit

Haughton-Mr. Glyn Tibbit, age 64, passed from this life with his beloved wife Nancy Taylor Tibbit by his side on June 14, 2009 at Pilgrim Manor Guest Care after a brief battle with bone cancer. Glyn was one who truly enjoyed life. He loved the sound of laughter and seeing smiles on people's faces. He never allowed himself to get discouraged or depressed. He never met a stranger and was a friend to many. He loved nature. If he had to cut down a tree, he would plant two to take its place. He always made sure there was food and fresh water for the birds, squirrels, deer and other wildlife at his home in the country. His wife would like to thank Denise McDearmont and all the staff at Pilgrim Manor for their love and support with special thanks to LPN's Tara Patrick and Kellie Fontenot and CNA Connie Owers. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Glyn requested that any memorial donations be made to Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, P.O. Box 33932 Shreveport, LA 71130.
