Gladys Blackwell

Gladys M. Blackwell Bossier City, LA Gladys Blackwell was born June 20th, 1923 and went to be with her Lord December 4th, 2010. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM, Monday, December 6, 2010 at Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, LA. A service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Boone Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. Scott Teusch. Interment will follow at Westlake Cemetery, Doyline, LA. Mrs. Blackwell will be sorely missed by her son, Vernon Blackwell and her daughters, Patricia Ethredge and Sherry McDonald. Also left behind are five living grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vernon Blackwell and a granddaughter, Melissa McDonald. Pallbearers will be Mike Carter, George Carter, David Price, Danny Bryant, and Brandon Carter and Ricky Carter as an Honorary Pallbearer.
