Gary Allen Tims was born on August 6, 1959, in Pasadena, TX. He passed away on June 6, 2024 at his home in Doyline, LA with his sister, Deeva Tims Hennesy, by his side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Allen Tims and Mary Frances DeLoach Tims.

Gary is survived by his sister, Deeva Tims Hennesy of Doyline, LA. The great loves of his life, his precious niece, Kaylee Hennesy of Tomball, TX; his nephew Stephen Hennesy of Tomball, TX; and his nephew Michael Hennesy and wife Emily of Austin, TX. He considered Brittany Gibson Reddick to be his niece and loved her dearly.

Gary worked at Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston for many years. He decided to pursue his passion for Aviation and became a licensed A&P Mechanic (Aircraft Mechanic). He worked for Aircraft Interior Resources and Continental Airlines in Houston. He loved everything about Military, History, and Texas.

"I am so incredibly happy that you were able to be baptized. I already miss you, Gary. You were my big brother, my friend, and my protector. There is a hole in my heart that is immense. Love, Deeva."
