Garry Bagley passed away in the early morning hours of January 5, 2016, in Benton, LA. A Celebration to pay tribute to a life well lived will be held at some time in the future. Garry was born in Hammond, IN to Hubert Roy and Ruth Johnson Bagley on February 8, 1947.
He was a Master Mechanic, working primarily to repair and maintain large trucks. Garry owned his tools and he knew what to do with them. Garry drove a Harley-Davidson Sportster and he knew how to maintain it. He was an avid and skillful pool player. The team that Garry played on were city-wide champions and his team was invited to Nevada to compete in a nationwide tournament.
Garry lived life on his own terms. He was generous to a fault and he was helpful to people who were down on their luck, he often gave and did for people who needed a hand up. Garry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda. We will miss Gary and we believe that our paths will cross again.
Those whom are left to continue here without him are his sisters and brothers-in-law; Tish and Tom Bullock of Benton, LA was well as Lynn Dean and Jim Shabi of Carson City, NV. His nieces, Jennifer (Darrell) Baldwin of Sparks, NV and Lori Shabi of Carson City, NV and nephew Dan (Kim) Shabi of Anchorage, AK.
