Frances Pauline Taylor

Shreveport - Memorial services for Frances Pauline Norment Taylor will be 1:00 PM, December 22, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Officiating will be Darwin Hunter of Sunset Church of Christ. Frances was born September 1, 1943 in Lewisville, AR to Nannie Beatrice Norment and Junious Taylor Norment and entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 18, 2019 at 9:34 AM at home in Shreveport. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and congestive heart failure. A lifelong member of Church of Christ she is currently a member of Sunset Church of Christ on Baird Road in Shreveport. She graduated from Cotton Valley High School in 1963 and married the love of her life, James Thomas Taylor of Newellton on November 12, 1965 in Marshall, Texas. Frances is preceded in death by parents, Nannie and JT Norment; husband, James T. Taylor; siblings, Lena Mae Pennock, Sylvia Ward, Peggy Lindsey, and great-grandson, Asher James Taylor. She is survived by children, James "Tommy" Taylor and wife Tammy Evans Taylor, Steffanie Paulette Taylor Wright and husband Greg Wright, and Kevin Gene Taylor and wife Michelle Coker Taylor; grandchildren, Amber Taylor, William "Seth" Taylor and finance Ashley Coco and Maxx Allen Harstad, Michael McClanahan and Mack McClanahan, Katelynn Danielle Taylor, James Richard Taylor; great-grandchildren, Traci and Jayme Downs, Aubrey Marie, Paxton McClanahan and Ashton Lynn; siblings, Jean Daughtery, Pat McCain, Mattie Lopez, Betty Phillips and Jerry Norment; and over 25 wonderful nieces and nephews which she loved very dearly. The family request that donations be made to Sunset Church of Christ in lieu of flowers. Frances truly loved her family and took great joy in watching them grow. She will truly be missed.
