Keithville, LA - Graveside services for Felix "Pedro" Noble, 58, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 25, 2013 at Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Deacon Thomas Lindsey.
The family will receive friends between 4:00 and 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport Chapel.
Felix was born July 18, 1955 in Shreveport to Minnie and Elliott Noble. Felix was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Elliott Noble, Jr.; and sister, Jewell Wyatt.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Delaris "Larcee" Noble; brother, Jerry Noble; brother-in-laws, Clifford Barrington, Thomas Lindsey and Dewey Waytt; sister, Patty Hines and several nieces and nephews.
Felix retired from Caddo Parish Commission, having worked for 33 years as a heavy machine mechanic. He proved many times that if he could take it apart he could fix it. He had a true talent for fixing anything mechanical. Pedro, as his co-workers would call him, was well liked and respected by his peers. When he retired he received their Distinguished Service Award and was very proud of it.
After retiring he enjoyed his model car hobby, going to Canton Flea Market with Larcee and was available to friends and family when they needed his help. He loved watching his two cats Harley and Tiny play and beg for food at the supper table. When they could, he and Larcee would disappear with their camper and enjoy the lakes.
The family wishes to thank Drs. Kamm and Stafford and the staff at Schumpert Medical Center and Life Care for the excellent and loving care given to Felix during his fight with lung disease.
Pallbearers will be Michael Foret, Larry Keller, Christopher Guerra, James Lyles, Charles Kupelian, and Nick Conticelli.
