Mama loved her girls and grands. She like to cook, crochet, read books, play on her tablet and gripe. Several people have commented that she was the gumbo queen. We loved her tomato gravy and homemade biscuits, tater salad, and beef tips with gravy, to name a few things. One of our favorite things to do when we were all together was play board games. Occasionally, she had to show the grands that she could still do cartwheels (and mess her hip up) among other things. She tried teaching us girls how to crocket, but I think all any of us can make is a chain. Mama was loved by many and will be missed greatly. She is no longer in pain. I know she will watch over us from Heaven and forever be in our hearts.
