Bossier City - Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Marie Perry Downey Baham, 88, will be held Monday, October 12, 2009 at 11:00am at Boone Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Goetjen officiating. Graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop, LA at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Baham, affectionately known as ?Mama Dot?, was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a loving mother, wife and friend. She was a natural born leader who enjoyed cooking and serving others. She operated Cameo Beauty Shop in Bastrop for over 30 years. Mrs. Baham was preceded in death by her two husbands, one daughter, one grandson, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter Janet Haggard of Benton, and grand-daughters, Jaclyn Smith of Waskom, TX, and Dorothy Ebers of Gaylesville, AL; 9 great grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family would like to acknowledge Anna Brown, Dr. Michael Sewell, and the staff of Heritage Manor in Bossier, and Willis-Knighton Bossier, for their tender care and attention.
