Dianne Herwig

Memorial services for Dianne Goodwin Herwig will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, 1915 Grover Place, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Dianne Brown. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Dianne, 45, passed away after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer on December 31, 2009 surrounded by her family. During her fun-filled life, Dianne, was known for being an outgoing and loving person that loved animals, sports, and playing jokes on her family and friends. Dianne lived her whole life in the Shreveport/Bossier area and graduated from Captain Shreve High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel H. Goodwin, Jr. and Joann Horton Goodwin. Left to cherish her memory are her children; daughter, Lynnsey, and son Nathan D. Herwig; sister, LeeAnn Goodwin Balderree and husband Carl; and brother, Danny W. Goodwin. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
