Daniel Winterton

Daniel Dean Winterton, 46, of Bossier City, LA, passed away on the 6th of February, 2014. Dan was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa on January 6th of 1968 to Robert and Ruth Winterton. He grew up in Cherokee where he graduated from Washington High School and then received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. Dan was married to Valerie R Young on May 18, 2013. Dan enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, playing pool and was an avid water-skier when he was younger. Having lived in Alaska for several years he loved spending time outdoors and sharing the outdoors with his friends and family. Dan also enjoyed cooking for his loved ones, especially if he was cooking fresh caught salmon or halibut. He was survived by his wife; Valerie Winterton, his parents; Robert and Ruth Winterton; his siblings; Doug (Lauren) Winterton, David (Becky) Winterton, Deborah (Kris) Werner, and Deanna Winterton and their families including 14 nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families as well.
