Rodessa, LA ? Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Slaughter Cemetery, Rodessa, LA. Officiating will be Dean Busboom. The family will receive friends at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, LA 71109 on Friday, November 5, 2010 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 PM. Curtis C. Moseley (Pee Wee) passed away suddenly on Monday, November 1, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Bette Ann Moore Moseley; son, Curtis Andrew Moseley; and grandson, William Joseph Moseley. He is survived by son, Bill Moseley of Shreveport; daughter, Ruth Moseley Norton, also of Shreveport; six grandchildren, Nicole Moseley, Rachael Moseley, Will Moseley, Samuel Norton, Matthew Moseley, and Sally Ann Norton. Mr. Moseley served his country as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He was also a reserve deputy in the Caddo Parish Sheriff?s Department. A welder by trade, Mr. Moseley was one of the first Certified Welders in Louisiana. He enjoyed farming and raising his Texas Longhorn cattle and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. One of his most favorite pastimes was fishing with his granddaughter, Sally. He was previously a Louisiana Hunter Safety Instructor and a NRA certified instructor for rifle, pistol, and shotgun. Pall Bearers are: Lewis Norton, Tom Moseley, David Kirkland, Jason Lance, Will Moseley, Matthew Moseley, and Sam Norton. Honorary Pall Bearers are lifelong friend, Phillip Hataway, Dr. Sonny Milstead, and brother-in-law, Bill Moore.
