Clyde Dale Green

It is with great sadness that we announce Clyde Dale Green of Haughton, LA passed away on July 10, 2023. Dale was born in Shreveport, LA on October 21, 1947 to Daily and Doris Green. As a young adult, he served in the US Air Force with a tour in the Vietnam war and was very proud to be a veteran. After his service, he worked in air freight management for many years. He was best known in the Shreveport-Bossier area as the “Tax Man” after purchasing Liberty Tax Service in 1999 where he served as a trusted income tax professional for over 20 years.

Dale was well loved by everyone who knew him.He enjoyed fishing and spoiling his grandchildren. He is survived by his life partner of 37 years, Dalene Forgey; brother, Steve Green (wife, Nancy); his children, Ellis Green, Christy English, Matt Green, James ‘JD’ Green, and bonus-son, Tim Mills (wife, Anita); his grandchildren, Dustin Green, Tyler Green, Ayden Green, Jamie Allen, Adam Mills, and Alex Mills; his great-grandchildren, Zayla and Isabella Busey, Elizabeth and Dakota Allen, Korbyn Mills, and River Auvil; and many other family and friends.  He is predeceased by his mother and father, brother, Tommy Green, and bonus-son, Jimmy Mills.
