Cindy Ammons

MOORINGSPORT, LA- Services for Cindy Lou Ammons will be held at Louisiana Funeral Care 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport at eleven o?clock in the morning Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at ten o?clock in the morning. Interment will follow at two thirty in the afternoon in Antioch Cemetery, Atlanta, Texas. Cindy is survived by her husband of 18 years, David Ammons; children, Amber Volentine and husband Kevin, Brandi Ammons and John David Ammons. She is also survived by her father, David Symonds of Ithaca, Michigan; two brothers, Albert Symonds and wife Bobette and children Johnny, Dylan, and Chance; Dennis Symonds and wife Mandy and son Cade; father and mother-in-law Gene and Carolyn Ammons; and a very dear friend, Jean Ann Whitehead. She entered into rest at her home in Mooringsport, Louisiana on November 29, 2008 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
