Catharine M. Ramsey

Catharine Marie Ramsey, 86, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2025. Ms. Ramsey was lovingly known by many names. Mama, Mamaw, Aunt Cat. Her mama called her Kitten. She was born in Clarence, Louisiana on June 12, 1938 to Ozene Grappe and Grace Thompson Grappe Cobb. 

She is preceded in death by her mother and father. Her brother Willie Cobb, sister Cleo Cobb her daughter JoAnn Clemons Sitaras and grandson Kris Brookins. She is survived by her daughters Paula Broadway, Rose Harrison and Patty Broadway. Her brothers Sonny Cobb and Jerry Cobb. Her sisters Dorothy Morrison, Josephine Jazowski, Kerry Thibodeaux and Janice Cobb. Grandchildren Jennifer Owens, Venessa Raphiel, Amy Nectoux, Brad Harrison, Kim Creamer, Byron Sitaras, Zach Sitaras, Alexandra Sitaras, Tamara Brookins, Ashley Hunt, David Hamm, Morgan Broadway and Kelsey Broadway. She had many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

 She will be greatly missed by a family that loved her immensely. A memorial service will be held April 12, 2025.
