Shreveport, LA ? Funeral services for Carl San Angelo, 68, will be 12:00 Noon, Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport. Interment will follow in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. John Harp of Brookwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport. Carl passed away peacefully at his home on April 7, 2012. In his younger years, he proudly served his country in the Army and retired from the City of Shreveport. He was known for his strength, courage, wisdom, strong religion, and love of family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and electronics. Proceeding Carl in death was his mother, Nancy Gulino San Angelo; father, Sam San Angelo; and brother, Sonny J. San Angelo. He leaves behind his loving and caring wife of 43 years, Phyllis San Angelo; son, Michael and Rhonda San Angelo; devoted super daughter, Debra San Angelo; loving sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Jack Arivett; niece, nephews and other family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Gates, Kevin Gates, Glen Wallace, Greg Richmond, David Welch, and Ryan Hartfield.
