Brenda Mizell

Brenda Burns Mizell, born in Shreveport, LA on December 13, 1956 to Homer and Murline Burns. She passed away on February 2, 2025. She attended the Louisiana State School for the Deaf in Baton Rouge, LA where she graduated. She then married Rydell Mizell and remained until his passing.

Brenda loved being with her friends and playing games and cards, and just having fun. She also loved coming home to be with family. That’s when the fun began.

She is preceded in death by her husband and grandmother whom she loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Peggy Roppolo, and her brother Jerry Burns.
