Brande Denson

A Celebration of Life Service for Brande Denson will be 2:00 on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Kings Highway Christian Church located at 806 Kings Highway, Shreveport, LA 71104. Officiating will be Rev. David Brice. Brande, 19, came into this world on Nov. 3, 1989 and went to be with her Lord in Heaven on April 22, 2009. She was a nursing student and because of her love of life she is now providing a better life to many others through donating organs, tissue and bone. Her kind sweet generosity continues even after her death. Brande was preceded in death by her grandfather Charles Denson and her Uncle Kenny. She is survived by her mother, Sherry Sellers and husband Phillip; father, Gary Denson; two sisters; Christy Pettite and Jennifer Denson; two brothers, Myles and Reece Sellers; grandparents, Jenny and Carroll Harrison and Betty Denson; aunts and uncles, Terry, Gary, Billy, Cindy, Tom, Chucky, Mike, Tracy and Lisa. The family would like to thank the all of the staff of LSU Health and Sciences Center for their care of Brande following her accident. They would also like to thank everyone for their many prayers and God for sending his Angels when they were so needed. A special thank you to LOPA for all of their guidance. In lieu of flowers, donations for Brande will be accepted on Brande's benefit to help other college students with dyslexia by way of scholarship to Texas Junior College where Brande was a student.
